Every Day, Fight and Protect
With over 20 years' experience practicing personal Injury law, federal maritime and offshore litigation, family law, and criminal defense, Alistair A. Adkinson has provided knowledgeable, compassionate, and award-winning service to hundreds of clients throughout Louisiana and beyond.
Mr. Adkinson earned his law degree from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2001. While in law school, he earned multiple academic awards, published a number of scholarly articles, and graduated in the top 1/3 of his class.
After completing his studies, Mr. Adkinson joined a small law firm in Baton Rouge, where he learned invaluable lessons in hands-on, client-centered, hard-fighting trial advocacy. These first few years of practice proved to be a real “trial-by-fire” for the young lawyer, but the lessons he learned there have served Mr. Adkinson well through the present day – especially after he established a firm of his own in September of 2014.
Mr. Adkinson has always considered it a professional duty to "pay forward" all of the guidance and encouragement he received during his initial "trial-by-fire" phase, and he's been honored to mentor a number of younger attorneys himself over the years. Many of these young lawyers now have law practices of their own, and have themselves "picked up the habit" of mentoring a whole new generation of hard-fighting trial advocates, fresh from their swearing in ceremonies.
